In this game, players embark on a road trip across an almost limitless desert generated randomly. The primary emphasis is on providing a sense of freedom, driving, exploration, and total immersion. It also has basic car maintenance and survival elements.
Infinite Desert, Freedom and Driving:
In The Long Drive, you won’t be restricted by invisible barriers or unable to jump over small obstacles, or warned by flashing red “wrong direction” signs. The car’s fuel consumption is reasonable and a full tank can last for about 500 kilometers. If you spot a distant mountain, you can drive there and even climb it if you’re able. The mirrors can be adjusted to your liking or even removed while driving at high speeds. You can even lean out of the car or get closer to the radio or other elements while playing.
